Membership
Membership Has Benefits
- Relevance: By volunteering yourself and becoming a member of BCARES you are providing a vital service to your family, friends, and community during times of need.
- Leadership: When you become an active member of BCARES you can develop and nurture a higher level of leadership through your professional-level relationships you develop with community partners during emergency training and real-time emergency operations.
- Resourcefulness: As a member your training can help develop skills to quickly and cleverly overcome difficulties met during disaster operations.
- Innovation: Your ongoing individual and corporate training in BCARES can help you better develop rapid radio deployment strategies both at home and in the field.
- Skills: BCARES members develop new skills in radio deployment, handling, and communicating by simply being around others who can share what they have learned.
